Hedenmorgen werd in de St. Lambertuskerk de eerste plechtige H. Mis opgedragen door den Z.E. Pater dr. Landoald Sibum van de orde der paters Assumptionisten.
Pater Sibum is geboren te Erica uit zeer eenvoudige ouders; hij ontving zijn eerste opleiding in voornoemde orde te Boxtel, studeerde vervolgens te Leuven and Constantinopel and het laatst te Rome, waar hij voor kort den dokterstitel maxima cum laude in de theologie behaalde.
Z.E. werd bij de plechtige H. Mis geassisteerd door den presbyter-assistens pastoor Weijenborg van de St. Lambertus-parochie; als diaken fungeerde kap. Schneider and als sub-diaken kap. De Jong, beiden van dezelfde parochie.
De feestprdicatie werd uitgesproken door kap. Pieper, die tot onderwerp had: de sociale roeping van den priester als bemiddelaar tusschen mensch and God.
Het koor voerde op zeer verdienstelijke wijze de Mis van Singenberger uit, terwijl na de H. Mis de Priestercantate van Haagh C.S.S.R. werd gezongen.
Onder de aanwezigen merkten we, naast de ouders and verdere familie, o.m. Deken van Beurden te Apeldoorn and kap. Weller van de O.L. Vrouwe-parochie.
Half augustus vertrekt Z.E. naar Jeruzalem voor zijn verdere studie in de Schriftuurwetenschap.
